This will be the place to learn about the progress, and find out how you can help with the, "and still counting" quilt project. We are making one block for every American Soldier who has died in the Iraq war. 212 knots/beads/stitches are added to each block to represent the Iraqis who have perished. (See "the beginnings" post below)

Guess what.. I went there on Monday! My daughter and niece and I went.. it was amazing. Now I'm inspired to make more. Can't promise them in a big hurry, but I'll make some.
P.S. I forgot my camera! Darn! But my daughter had hers.
I like the way that you are "showing" people how many deaths have added up. My friend lost her son in Iraq. He was shot down during a rescue mission. I would imagine that most people know someone who has died in this war against...what?
